Our new Armstrong Sheet Vinyl display features three lines: Traditional Resilient, for glue-down applications; CushionStep, which can be floated or glued-down and adds extra comfort underfoot; and StrataMax, Armstrong's latest line that can also be floated or glued-down but also adds a new dimension of durability. Ricko the Rhino gets a SmartStrand upgrade!

Ricko the Rhino will be living in a brand new space designed by non-other than Chip Wade from “Designed To Sell” and “Curb Appeal.” Chip is well aware that Ricko can be more than a little destructive at times, but Chip claims he has a carpet that’s tough enough for even a rhino as aggressive as Ricko: Mohawk SmartStrand Carpet with DuPont Sorona renewably sourced polymer.

“Ricko the Rhino” has had an exciting summer getting ready for his internet debut. Leaving no stone unturned, he is now ready to invite everyone into his living space.

Back from ColorCenter Convention in DC

I just returned from Mohawk ColorCenter Convention, this year in Washington DC. Mohawk put us up in a beautiful new hotel, the Gaylord National, just outside DC in Maryland. We saw all the new displays and products and had some time to visit DC. One evening they opened the Smithsonian Air & Space Museum just for us Mohawk folks. We had dinner, toured the museum and I got to meet none other than Tommy Mohawk! That night, we were taken on a bus tour of the city to cap off the trip.
